Pooja Banerjee was born on 8th November 1991 in Aligarh, India. She is a talented actress and well known face in entertainment industry. She has completed her schooling education from Centre Point School and later completed her graduation in commerce from Hislop College. After completed her graduation she has completed her post graduation in English Literature. Later she give audition for reality tv show MTV Roadies and got selected in it but eliminated in the finals round. Later she started to give audition in tv show and got selected as an actress in daily soap Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum from where she was started to get recognized. She was later seen as an actress in daily soap like Chhanchhan, Crime Patrol, Maan Na Maan Main Tera Mehmaan, The Adventures of Hatim, Swim Team and Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha. Apart from actress she is also a national level swimmer.
