Career
At age 18, AvrRam became the member ofPardesi Dance Group in Sundbyberg and gave dance performances all over Scandinavia, primarily of Bollywood songs.[8] AvrRam has done some acting projects in Sweden,[4]including 2008 crime drama romance movie,Förbjuden Frukt, where she played the role of Selen - the lead character's teen girlfriend. The movie was set against a backdrop of violent crime, where she falls in love with a boy with a criminal background.[9] She also appeared as guest on the Swedish Morning ShowGomorron Sverige. In 2010, AvrRam participated in the Miss Greece beauty contest.[10][11]
In September 2012, AvrRam moved to Mumbai.[12] She signed up with a modeling agency and got a work visa. Her first considerable project was a television advertisement for Eveready Batteries.[13]Avram was featured in a television commercial for Ricchezza Silver Jewelry, produced by TryAngles Studio.
She got her first major breakthrough with a lead role in Saurabh Varma's comedy thriller film, Mickey Virus[14] although she spoke no Hindi.[4] Before her Bollywood debut, AvrRam had formal training in Hindi pronunciation.[15]In Mickey Virus she played the role of Kamayani George.[16] The film, shot in Delhi, was released on October 25, 2013.[14] In September 2013, AvrRam participated in the reality TV show Bigg Boss 7 and spent ten weeks in the house until she got evicted on Day 70. In 2015 she appeared in the box office hit Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon as Deepika opposite Kapil Sharma. Daler Mehndi's hit track 'Kudiyan shehar di' from the 1999 filmArjun Pandit was recreated and Elli Avramappeared in this song in film Poster Boys.[17]
